With more than 20 years investment experience in Sydney and London running dynamic businesses for key multi-national financial institutions, Rad has held senior roles as Managing Director, Head of Fixed Income for Societe Generale and Head of Trading for TD Securities in Australia. Rad has extensive experience in agribusiness, farming systems, land management, farm and livestock health and natural resource management through owning and managing a large diversified agricultural business in NSW, encompassing beef production, cropping and forestry. He has comprehensive knowledge of international markets and experience in managing risk across multiple asset classes. His experience includes identifying and structuring complex investment transactions and dealing with relevant stakeholders inclusive of industry bodies, investors and service providers.
Patrick has a lifelong involvement in the meat and livestock industry. His family business, Purcell Exports and Purcell Brothers, have been the largest exporters of meat and livestock in the world, transporting meat and livestock from Ireland, Australia and South America to the Middle Eastern countries of Libya, Egypt, Iraq and Iran. His business is regarded as a pioneer in the industry opening up Middle Eastern markets such as Libya and Egypt to the importation of live cattle from Ireland and Australia. His family own numerous farming operations in Ireland whereby they breed and fatten cattle throughout the year. Patrick relocated to Australia in 1996 to run the Australian division of Purcell Brothers, exporting over 200,000 live head of cattle. Patrick’s extensive relationships across different markets allow him to capitalize on a broad range of opportunities.
Dr Johnno Wu

Dr Johnnoo Wu holds a PhD in Finance from the University of NSW and also holds the role of Head of Quantitative Trading for the Seventy Capital Absolute Return Fund. Johnno is highly experienced in quantitative analysis and risk management of global commodity markets, previously having been a Quanitative Analst with Societe Generale Australia Commodity Trading Business. In additiona Johnno is highly respected by his peers and has strong relationships throughout China. He has also been involved in Chinese Investment in Australia including the acquisition of an Australian Nickel mine for the Chinese owned Hengdian Group DMEGC Magnetics Co Ltd. Furthermore, he is the author of “Option Trading Strategies for Market Makers”.
Rob has over 25 years of experience in the global financial markets with postings in the major financial centres of New York, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney. He successfully worked in trading, structuring, portfolio and risk management of derivative products. Rob has held the role of Managing Director, Global Head of FX Options at National Australia Bank. Prior to NAB, he founded the Commodity and FX Strategic Trading group at ANZ. Rob gained his extensive knowledge of structured products and derivaties from an international career at Societe Generale, commenced by establishing the Commodity and FX options desk in Sydney. Rob is highly skilled in managing risk across global commodity and derivative portfolios and has extensive relationships throughout Europe, Asia and the United States.
UK and Europe Business Development
Peter is Managing Director and Founder of Petra Partners Ltd, a boutique consultancy firm working exclusively with AIDC in the agricultural sector. Peter is responsible for the business development strategy in Europe and the UK. He has a strong interest and understanding of agriculture and farming having spent his youth in rural Australia where his family were involved in farming and the meat and livestock industry. Peter has over 16 years experience in financial and commodity market derivatives, holding a variety of positions both in London and Sydney. Peter is now permanently based in the UK and has extensive relationships within the alternative investment and traditional funds management industry.
